About Our Instructors and Classes
CPR Columbus is an American Heart Association Training Site in Columbus, Ohio. The information taught in AHA courses is used in life saving scenarios. Because of this, our instructors take teaching these classes very seriously, and strictly adhere to all AHA guidelines. But at the same time, our philosophy is that optimal learning occurs in stress-free, relaxed classroom environments.
We believe it’s crucial for students to feel comfortable and at ease during the learning process. Therefore, not only is every one of our instructors certified under the rigorous training of the AHA, but we also mandate that each of our instructors is trained under our Student Centered Learning philosophy.
This includes ensuring a comfortable, friendly environment that addresses the distinct learning needs of our diverse student population. We understand that our classes are required by students with different educational backgrounds, and as such our instructors actively seek to help everyone on their individual needs.
